I paint abstract forms that depict transformative states within the organic and visceral. Gathering inspiration from a vast array of anatomical, embryological, and phyto-morphological concepts, I compose vibrant, hectic, and at times grotesque imagery of these dissonant poly-hybrids. As bubbles percolate in hidden crevices and vertebrae-like columns outline bulbous cocoons, some shape or form begins to molten, unknowing and apathetic towards its design. Yet, the imperceivable inertia suggests there is a critical, teleological intent behind its desperate formation in the abstract.
